I have never heard of a chocolate ale so I knew this was going to be an interesting experience. The smell is yeasty and malty. You can smell the sweetness of the white chocolate and it’s not like any ale I’ve ever smelled before. The head faded very quickly and it pours a very light golden color. The beer is very smooth and very drinkable. It’s amazing how strong the white chocolate flavor is when it comes through. It’s very very sweet and very smooth. It has a creamy flavor and the taste really develops as the beer warms in your mouth. I’m really impressed with this beer! I’m looking forward to more breweries developing these sweet ales!
