This was an interesting brew with a ton of hiccups along the way. How did it<br />
turn out?</p>
<p>When we were preparing to boil the wort we found out the thermometer reads<br />
different at different depths but I think I got it figured out. My brother<br />
remembered that the last batch used muslin bags to remove the hops but we<br />
didn&#8217;t have any for the pellets this time. When we cooled the wort it<br />
dropped to 53 degrees instantly and took an hour or so just to get it back<br />
into the 70&#8242;s.  The top of the fermentor had a small hole in it from the<br />
seal breaking. We transfered to a secondary after 7 days, bottled the next.<br />
All in all, it looked like we were in for a mess. So, how DID it turn out&#8230;<br />
Excellent!</p>
